Day 15 Hardin, Montana (55 miles)
Today is the last day I get to ride with Patty. I am sad to see her leave the ride. We got to share some fond memories from the ride two years ago. It was a very special time for us. The ride and weather was great,(not hot). We stopped and petted some horses in a pasture and met and chatted with the owners. Then later we watched some real Cowboys seperating bulls into a pen. We took photos on the tractor that all the big riders from '08 will surely recognize. Later we stopped at Taco John's for lunch and found a photo on the wall of the very same tractor in use from back in the 1940's. We also went to the same Tee Pee we took photos of last ride. It was an emttional day for me for many reasons. Photos to follow. On to Sheridan WY. There also should be a good tailwind tomorrow with possible storms. Which we have seen almost every day. I will trade the extreme heat for a few bad storms and a tailwind ANYDAY!
From Chuck's Face Book: Heading to Hardin today with Patty and then she is heading home. I am sooooo going to miss her. My next rest day will be six days from now in Rapid City SD. There is going to be many beautiful miles between here and there.
